ALLEZ CATS REUNION
Chicago - and the midwest's - legendary scooter club celebrated a reunion and twenty years of scootering... Loads of old faces all around, it was great to see everyone together again and having fun. Dez and Debbie brought a special reunion issue of the Contact zine. DJs Kris & Crystal from the Floorshakers Soul Society tore it up, with Grover turning Delilah's into a danceclub - the crowd was at fever pitch by the end of the night.

11am meet at The Globe for a proper pub breakfast before heading out on a noon run to CHESS RECORDS for a 1pm studio tour! INCREDIBLE! Ride out from Chess to modernist sites throughout the city, including IIT, and down to Jackson Park. Over to Delilah's for the MOD garage sale, and off to DESIGN WITHIN REACH - EVANSTON for a 6pm reception with scooter judging, with an Eames LCW on the line as top prize, courtesy of Design Within Reach. Rosati takes home the chair - congratulations! Meet later Saturday night for MODchicago's Our Way Of Thinking event at The Note with top DJs from around the world, with contests and prizes galore!

MILLIONS LIKE US
Meet with Ton-Up Chicago at 2pm at the Pontiac Cafe. We ride out at 3pm to Montrose Beach, where we settle some old scores... and then BBQ!

We pack up and head to Delilah's for MayDay's mod revival night, The Music The MODs Forgot. Rob the Mod was on the decks, along with John Manion from Artful Dodger's Class of '84, tireless revival champion Mike Park, Scott "The Boss" Seath from St Paul... it was the BEST way to end a FANTASTIC rally. Rob, you kept the skinheads jumpin' till the wee hours. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!
